Welcome to Robinson Family Vineyards! We were established in 1971 by our grandfather Bud Robinson, who retired from the military and settled down in Napa Valley. Not knowing at the time he settled right in the middle of Stags Leap District. We are a family boutique winery run by Tom and Susie Robinson-Jinks and 3 daughters (Carrie, Kim & Robin).
Tasting/Tour: We are by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Our private tasting and tour is about a 45 minute experience in which one of our family members takes you through our wines and cellar and provides you with our family history dating back to the 1960's.
Wines: Our Robinson Family Vineyards wine consist of an Estate Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. We also have a Great Legs wine from our property in Coombsville Appelation that is fun and delightful consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and a Syrah.
Vineyard: Perfectly situated under the face of the Stag's Leap Palisades lays our hillside property. On the 78 acres you will find the highly visible outcropping of the Stag's Leap cliffs. The hills are covered with aging oak trees, 7 acres of hillside vineyard. Our vineyard is located in an ideal setting. During the day the heat from the large structured volcanic rock of the cliffs penetrates the vines, then the cool coastal nights of the valley assist to create a supple and balanced wine.
