More Information

The Corley Family’s Monticello Vineyards is an innovative and acclaimed limited production estate winery located in Napa Valley, California. All of our wines have won innumerable awards over the last 25 years, been honored as top 100 wines by the major publications, been served in the White House and have honored the Academy Award nominees. Jay Corley founded the winery in 1970. Son’s Kevin, Chris and Stephen serve as Winegrower, Winemaker and Director of Wine Sales, respectively.

We are proud to farm five small vineyards in the Oak Knoll, Yountville, Rutherford, and St Helena appellations of Napa Valley from which we grow and produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah.

Our dedication to estate grown wines is paramount in preserving the consistency and quality of our wines and the natural diversity of our vineyards in Napa Valley enable us to craft wines of great complexity and distinctive character. Our winemaking is a modern and innovative turn on the traditional methods and it is extremely hands-on in the vineyard and the winery. We are committed to meticulously farming each varietal by paying close attention to soils, micro-climates, clones, rootstocks, trellis systems and vine spacing to maximize the distinctive character of each lot of wine that we harvest. The winegrower is focused on rich, ripe, intense fruit and our winemaker is focused on bringing those grapes to the glass with the wines aromatics intact, seamlessly presented from attack to finish with a luscious texture and subtlety seasoned with premium French oak.
